University of Zagreb

The University of Zagreb (1669) is the oldest and biggest university in South-Eastern Europe. Ever since its foundation, the University has been continually growing and developing and now consist of 29 faculties, three art academies and the Centre for Croatian Studies. With its comprehensive programmes and over 50,000 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students the University is the strongest teaching institution in Croatia.

The Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb was established in 1776. In 2005 the Faculty of Law reformed its curriculum according to the Bologna Process. The Faculty aims to integrate teaching and education with research and policy projects: it play for example an important role in drafting legislative proposal for the government.
